Join us for an exciting season!
Welcome to the Charlotte Skill Factory. We share your excitement and your child’s anticipation for the upcoming season! This program has been designed to instill in your children a positive attitude, leadership skills, sound fundamentals, confidence, and grit. We aim to use basketball to connect boys and girls in ways only sport can do, and we hope they meet someone new and build new friendships.
Everything we do is geared toward the boys and girls participating in our programs. Understanding how they feel helps us coach and lead them well. We pride ourselves on allowing all our players, regardless of age, a voice to share how they feel. We aim to build respectful and thoughtful ways for players to express themselves so we can lead them well.
Effective communication with parents is critical to establishing a parent-program partnership as it ensures cooperation, builds mutual trust and helps coaches learn more about the children in their care. We aim to give parents ample time to plan and keep open communication lines so they feel heard and seen.
We aim to motivate and inspire athletes to improve their skills and teamwork and, by doing so, develop grit and the ability to make their school teams. Our coaching includes effective communication, understanding the proper use of rewards, and accountability to help our players reach their goals.
Let’s Play Ball.
