Isaiah Hunter
Isaiah Hunter (OD ’06) out of Charlotte, NC. Hunter, a 6’2 guard, born in Queens, NY, played college basketball for ODU from 2002-2006, where he was a three-time All-CAA selection and earned a 2005 All-Tournament selection. Hunter also ranked 11th in the CAA in scoring and three-point field goal percentages and 10th in free throw percentage.
Hunter helped lead ODU to the 2005 CAA Championship and an NCAA tournament berth with a 28-6 record, and as a senior in 2006, the Monarchs reached the semi-finals of the NIT And finished with a 24-10 mark.
In his senior year, he was the team’s leading scorer (14.3) and scored a career-high 29 points in the NIT quarterfinal game at Hofstra University, and also poured in 28 in the NIT game vs. Colorado. Isaiah completed his college career with 1,425 points which ranks him 17th on ODU’s all-time list. Hunter was a second-team All-CAA selection in 2005, the third team in 2006 and 2004.
Coach Hunter will serve as head coach for a 5th grade team for The Skill Factory.
