CSF Select
CSF Select Teams range from 9U-17U and will compete in tournaments from February to July. We aim to compete in the best tournaments in the region during this time to ensure the top players in our program get the proper exposure and test against teams in the region.
The spring is designed to further players’ development and prepare them for middle or high school. Players and families may start the spring a little unsure of the competitive levels beyond their local area. Still, they will finish the spring with a better idea of what competition looks like across the region and be better prepared to improve their game.
The CSF Select program is designed to further a playerโs development and college recruiting. The younger teams will compete in the best local tournaments and take one trip to a national tournament in June. Once you reach 7th Grade, teams will start taking big steps toward playing circuit basketball against a larger pool of talent in the region. There will be more travel at this stage of development for all CSF Select teams once they reach 13U/7th Grade.
Additionally, players will finish the basketball season knowing that playing for a Select team gives them the best chance to improve their game and get the most college recruiting exposure.
The Selection Process
To build our CSF Select teams, we holdย tryoutsย designed to evaluate both basketball ability and cultural fit.
- Basketball Evaluationย โ Players go through a series of drills and open runs to test skill, IQ, and competitiveness.
- Parent Meetingย โ Families meet with our staff to understand expectations and make sure CSF Select is the right fit.
- Culture Fitย โ We value not just talent, but character, work ethic, and a commitment to being part of a healthy basketball community.
Season Costs
The cost for theย Spring/Summer Select seasonย typically ranges betweenย $1,200โ$1,600, depending on how much your family contributes through fundraising.
This covers:
- High-level coaching and player development
- Training sessions focused on skill, IQ, and athletic development
- Travel tournaments and competitive opportunities
- Mentorship and guest speakers who invest in playersโ growth on and off the court
