Lawrence Gordon is the Founder of Sport Mode One, a sports events group that organizes and creates basketball experiences for youth in the Charlotte area. He was one of the founding grassroots directors for the EYBL, leading a top Nike program called the Southern Kings out of Atlanta, GA, where that program developed multiple state players of the year, All-America talent, and professional athletes. He has a background in youth development and strives to come alongside parents, helping their children to be their best selves.

Gordon aims for his sport programs to be a bridge-builder, using sport to connect communities regardless of socio-economic background and teach the next generation that we are better together. The programming is designed to help bridge the gap between communities in the Charlotte area, allowing kids to meet people they usually wouldn’t meet.
